Sylvia is an associate lawyer at Magellan Lawyers LLP, focusing on real estate law, estate planning, probate application and estate administration. She regularly advises clients on personal planning including drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements, and more sophisticated planning options including dual Wills, Alter Ego Trusts, Joint Spousal Trusts and bare trust planning for inter-generational transfers. She also assists executors in obtaining probate or letter of administration and provides thoughtful guidance for estate administration. She aims to make what can be an unfamiliar and overwhelming legal process more manageable and pain-free for her clients. 

Born and raised in mainland China, then educated in Hong Kong, Sylvia brings a cross-cultural perspective to her practice and is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Her language skills and background allow her to connect with clients from diverse communities and make the legal process more accessible.

Sylvia lives with her husband and three lovely children in South Surrey and enjoys piano, badminton and nature walks.
